Do i need to replace my iphone battery?

I have noticed my Iphone battery has been really odd lately. during the day i hardly use it and it goes down to 70%... even more wierd.. over night i sleep about 8 hours..i leave it on but its locked and on "sleep" and it goes down from 90%
