How do I know what hard drive to buy replace on this RAID server computer?
It's a Dell Poweredge 6600 and one of the hard drives have failed. I know it has a SCSI RAID configuration. There are probably somewhere between 5-10 hard drives. How do I know what hard drive to buy and replace? Can I remove the hard drive and put
If you don't know which drive (physically) to replace you can run the raid configure tool to see which one 0-7 and then you can pull out a random hard drive and read the back for the pin-out configuration for that number. Then look at the pin-outs on
