Is the deal at Walmart for the iphone 3Gs only for new customers?

They just dropped the price to $97 with a 2 year contract. We are currently in the middle of a contract with At&t and did not know if we would be eligible for the $97 iphone at Walmart. Anyone have an answer? Thanks.
