A couple of weeks ago a big line just randomly appeared on the screen of my iPod 5G. I didn't drop it or anything. The only cause that it could've possibly been is that i'd had it in my pocket outside on a cold night, but that's never harmed it before...
It's due to a sudden change in heat I suppose the same thing happened to me, the best thing to do is go to shop you brought it from and ask them WHat it is. hope this sort of helps.
