If I sync my iPod Nano pictures to a new computer will I lose the pictures originally in my iPod?

I have already sync lots of pictures from my old computer and I changed my computer recently. I can't get the pictures from my old PC for a long story but anyways, if I sync my ipod to my new PC (without the original pictures) will I lose the pictures
