goodfree Ive got a new macbook pro with windows 7 running on boot camp. It would seem that while in windows my macbook doesnt have adequate fan management and gets very hot very easily with no fan response. Meanwhile in OSX it runs very cool and responds to heat fluctuations. Whats a good fan management solution for this?
The problem is primarily due to the fact that Windows 7 uses more resources than Mac OS, while lacking some of Mac OSs energy saving concepts.

moron If you think that Bootcamp is cool, this will blow you away. Not only can you run Windows in well, uhhh, a window, but you can run linux, OS/2, or just about any other OS there. All natively under OS/X! GO APPLE!

redandgold This procedure allows you to triple boot OSX, Windows XP and Linux. It has been sucessfully used to setup a macbook, but is untested on the imac/mini. Therefore if you try this you do so at your own risk.

ddouglass Parallels is a new utility that allows you to run Windows Vista (or any other windows) at the same time you are in your OS-X Environment. If only VPC worked this well for the PC!
