How many songs and videos will i be able to store in the ipod touch 8GB?

I'm considering buying it, (my video ipod 30GB was slammed in my car door :( ) but im concerned that since it's only 8GB it will have much less capacity than my older, cheaper ipod. I have about 800 songs, 3 seasons of "24", a few "South

The 8GB touch can hold approximately 1,750 songs (only storing music) and 10 hours video (only video), so it could be close because of the high volume of video content. The Touch also comes in a 16 GB model that comes closer to meeting your needs.
