You can flip the communicator open by flipping the phone and it includes all sorts of Original Series sound effects. Even cooler there is a phone app included, which can access your contacts, so you can make calls right from the communicator.

(180 diggs) Apple Will Shut Off Your iPhone Video at Concerts Is it me or is this just really effed up? Apple has plans to develop a system where the video function on iPhones (and I assume iPod Touches) will be disabled if they are being used to film a concert. The system will be able to detect the activity using infrared sensors and contact the phone to disable video. All other functions will continue to work.
